The apartment is located on the 22nd floor and is oriented on three sides. Its high panoramic windows offer a magnificent view of Moscow at any time of day. The area is divided between a kitchen-living room, a guest room, a bathroom and a master-block. Its main difference is a separate bathroom with a floor-to-ceiling window and a transparent shower room located between the closet and the bedroom. Our customer's readiness for such a solution allowed us to take an unconventional approach to the layout of the room. Thanks to this move, we got a different spatial feeling and added a spectacular effect to the interior. In the closet we placed all the storage behind closed cabinets. One of them is decorated with Italian veneer with decorative texture, and the second one plays the role of a mirror. It reflects natural light from the window, which visually increases the volume of the room. Behind the closet door is a laundry room with a sink, washing machine and dryer. The sofa in the living room is oriented on two sides, as the area of the room allows not to be limited to seating only in one direction, to add mobility and different scenarios of use. In its muted green shade, it plays the role of an accent against the background of other monochrome objects. Opposite the kitchen there is a large island with comfortable chairs, which combines the function of a work surface and a dining table. Since the guest room is small, we chose glass with a mirror effect for the doors of the built-in cupboard, thus extending the space, but at the same time hiding the storage. The corner, which is part of the architecture, was covered with a floor-to-ceiling mirror, making it virtually invisible. |
